Fourth of July is just around the corner and it's time to begin planning your July newsletter communication! It's warming up and you probably have ball games, practices, and vacations to pack for. But don't miss out on this opportunity to communicate with your audience. If you have a fun story to share, a glimpse of what's to come in August or farewell wishes (or advice) to the graduating Seniors in your community (and their parents), take the time to prepare your message now. Tip: those Seniors who will be 18 any day now need to have their health care directives prepared before heading to their college dorm!

More Marketing and Social Media Ideas
Remember to have fun and keep it real in your social media marketing adventures. Here are a few more ideas to keep things interesting in July (and don't forget to refer back to Social Media ideas for June):
- Creative Ice Cream Flavors Day: How about sponsoring and serving ice cream at a Senior Center or nursing home, or even an office ice cream party with photos to post on your blog and Facebook page.
- National Pecan Pie Day: How about sharing your family's favorite pecan pie recipe – or a pie baking disaster! I know we have one in our family … a homemade cherry pie – pits and all!
- National Strawberry Sundae Day, National Ice Cream Day and Vanilla Ice Cream Day: Okay, why not just claim July as National Ice Cream month?! Share a photo or your favorite ice cream flavor in honor of one of these important holidays.
- Mutt's Day: No matter what type of furry or feathered friend you have, don't forget to make proper plans for their care when you are no longer able to. Use your Social Media accounts to encourage planning for pets and adoption or fostering of pets from local shelters.
