We hear this from clients from time to time. They are not convinced that social media is the appropriate tool for their markets, worry that their words may be misconstrued, or that a misstep may make them look foolish. Actually we think the last one – looking foolish – is what scares many non-millennials away from this brave new world.
And we understand. The pace of change in social media is as fast as the Voyager 1 spacecraft hurtling through interstellar space. Yesterday’s Wall Street Journal looked at the ten most used apps and six of them are messaging services. Among early adapters, WhatsApp – a messaging app for Android and other phones – and Messenger – think texting, through Facebook – are growing exponentially. WhatsApp is expected to reach a billion users by early next year.
Can your law firm practice keep pace? Do you have to?
That’s what we’re here for. We understand that your first priority is to reach new clients, maintain a high level of service for your current clients, and stay in touch with everyone. Our weekly Essential Blogs are a key part of your social media platform. If you can use that content on other social media sites – Google+, Twitter Linked In and Facebook – you’ll have the key components in place.
If you’re not sure how to go about doing this, or want a refresher, just give us a call. We have our feet in several different worlds – law firm practice development, law firm marketing and let’s not leave out graphic design and branding for law firms. We can help you get out in front of your prospects, and stay there at a pace that’s comfortable and effective.
