“Content is fire, and social media is the gasoline.”
In the marketing world, there is a well-known fact that “Content is King.” Great content goes a long way in putting your website within the ranks of Google and other search engines alike – and luckily if you are an Essential Client™, you probably have quite a few practice area webpages full of educational, info-rich content. But if you think that’s all you have to do – you are wrong! In today’s tech-savvy world, having a website is just the bare bones of having an online presence. Sure, you need one. But you also need to promote your website online … enter Social Media.
Like the quote mentions above, think of content as the “fire” that is burning your website up the search engine ranks. And what makes fire grow? Gasoline! Social Media is the gasoline to your content fire. The more you use Social Media to share your webpages, the more your website presence grows making it easier for others to 1) find you and 2) remember who you are (if you post consistently).
