If you are a new IMS Client, you are connected to a team that can provide you with a ton of amazing services to get your marketing plan up and running. Many have been highlighted in the last few weeks of this series, from video to e-Newsletter, search engine optimization to blogging, social media training to custom design work on brochures and more!
But one of the most exciting meetings you will have with your account manager is the day your website design is ready to be revealed!
During our design consult, your account manager listened as you worked with James through the Marketing Questionnaire to learn what is unique about you and your business. That information was summarized for our incredible design team who bring those ideas to life. I watched one of our designers for only a few minutes while she updated the color palette for a client’s website, and what they are capable of is just mind-boggling! You and your website are in great hands! You can learn more about Angela, Emma, and Josh on our website.
We will spend some time checking out the test site and how all of the features work. A reminder: this is simply the “design” reveal – there will be sample filler text to demonstrate what your content will look like during the “build-out” process. The goal for this call is to come to an agreement on an overall look for the site so the team can then move forward and build-out the “guts” of the site – the actual content and the rest of the inside pages -- and carry your design throughout your marketing plan (e-Newsletter, social media accounts, etc.).
If you have concerns about your website’s design, your account manager will ask you what about the site you like and what about it you would prefer to change.
What Next? Once the site is fully built, your account manager will ask that you review and approve the site to “go live.” We will meet one more time to review the best practices related to managing your social media accounts and activity.
