Have you noticed the new Event Subscription feature on Facebook? If you host workshops or events, this subscribe function is for you!
Let’s say there is a potential client searching online for your type of services and they happen to visit your Facebook Business page. You may have your upcoming events for the summer posted on your profile. This prospect is definitely interested in learning more, but – with graduations, vacation and balancing work with the kids’ crazy schedules, she just won’t be able to attend any of them until Fall.
Before, this client might have just finished checking out your page and left. You hope that she will remember to come back in a couple months and see the new Event dates. But, honestly, “Ain’t nobody got time for that!” By then, she may have already found another office to work with.
Now, with the ability to get subscribers for your Events, this prospect can click on the Event “Subscribe” button on your Business Profile page and Facebook will keep her connected to your company for you. Any time a new Event is created and added to your profile, Facebook will send a notification to those people that opted-in as subscribers.
Now, with this (free!) lead-nurturing tool, she is consistently reminded of exactly when and where your events are and trusts your company to automatically send her new dates as they are posted to Facebook. This tool can help you increase her chances of attending an event and learning more about your services (without any extra effort from you!).
